Description:

The primary investigators and research assistants will use the protocols provided in “Water Quality Monitoring- A Guide For Concerned Citizens” by B. Dexter and R. Harris and the Methods section of Job 2: Marine Finfish Survey and Job 3: Inshore Survey of Juvenile Winter Flounder reported in the March 1, 1991 – February 29, 1992 Annual Report by Dr. Penny Howell of CT DEP entitled “A Study of Marine Fisheries in Connecticut”. Monitoring of fish migrations through the Pond Lily Dam fish ladder will be carried out in accordance with procedures provided by CT DEP. The tagging and tracking of Tautog and Winter Flounder within the New Haven Harbor will be carried out under the supervision of Dr Jose Periera from the NOAA National Marine Fisheries Lab, Milford, CT.
