Description:

The Sound School has already completed the first step in the process of continuous monitoring of environmental conditions in the New Haven Harbor Watershed. It has become an AWS School WeatherNet Station. The AWS School Weathernet Program is truly innovative and supports improved math, science, geography, meteorology, boating safety and technology education for students. Beyond the classroom benefits, the WeatherNet is providing the Connecticut shoreline region (New Haven, CT and 18 other cooperating school ditricts) with a valuable weather information resource accessible via the Internet and local television (WTNH-TV8)
