Description:

The primary investigators and research assistants will use the protocols provided in “Water Quality Monitoring” – A Guide For Concerned Citizens” by B. Dexter and H. Harris, the EPA Volunteer Estuary Monitoring: A Methods Manual and the Methods section of the Estuarine Seine Survey reported in the March 1, 2000 – February 28, 2001 Annual Performance Report by Dr penny Howell of CT DEP entitled “A Study of Marine Recreational Fisheries in Connecticut to continue the field studies needed to “ Provide an annual index of recruitment for young-of-year winter flounder” and to “Provide an annual index of all finfish species taken and develop a standardized index for sub-tidal forage species.”
