Student Shadowing
Student Shadowing is a way for prospective students to experience a typical day at The Sound School. Prospective students are paired with Student Mentors in the same grade that the prospective student will enter at our school.
If you are interested in shadowing:
- Complete an admissions application. In order to shadow the prospective student must have an Admissions Application on file with us.
- Download, complete, submit the Student Shadow Visitor Permission Slip to The Sound School. (You can mail, fax, or drop off this form.)
- Please mail the form to:

- You will be contacted 2-3 weeks after we recieve form.
- We will contact you with the next available shadowing date. Due to the high volume of shadowing requests, we cannot accommodate requests for specific shadowing dates, a date will be assigned to you.
- Shadows will be paired with our Student Mentors.
- On the date of the Shadowing experience, the prospective student should come to the George Foote Aquaculture Building located at 17 Sea Street. (It is the large brick building next to the pier.)
